High Octane Classics is proud to offer this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle finished in Regal Red over a black vinyl interior. Power comes from a 396ci V8 paired to a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and ten-bolt rear axle. Under the hood the 396 has been equipped with an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and a set of aftermarket tube-steel headers for better breathing capability and increased horsepower. The interior has been restored to factory a appearance with a set of factory bucket seats and center console with the chrome ball shifter. The radio has been swapped out with a Retro Sound unit that keeps the factory look while adding modern features like Bluetooth and AUX. The factory sweeping dashboard has an odometer reading 53,378 but the true mileage of the car is unknown. Although the car was not born as a real SS, the exterior wears all of the correct badging on the front and rear fenders, bumpers, and has the correct cowl hood. This Chevelle rides on a set of 15 Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires and braking is handled by a set of power front disc brakes. This is an excellent example of a Chevelle SS tribute with great options like power brakes, four-speed manual, factory air conditioning, and more!
