Chevelle SS396 Convertible This rare Super Sport is one of only about 6000 Convertibles made out of about 80,000 SS396 for Chevelles in 1966. This one is finished in Regal Red with a White Convertible top. Was purchased new and stayed in Southern California since new. Although mostly original, a few drivability upgrades were made for comfort and better highway use. Under the hood sits the rebuilt 396/360 Horsepower V8 with 4 barrel carburetor, factory power steering, Frount discbrakes, dual exhaust for a sweet sound. The Red interior is mostly stock in appearance with a bench seat, original steering wheel, This body style has always been a favorite and seems to be gaining a lot of popularity these days.
