1966 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 396
4-SPEED, FDB, A/C, CLEAN WEST COAST CAR!!
This is one clean Chevelle and it is straight down both sides. The panels fit square and flush. It looks awesome in a factory color Regal Red, code RR. All of the stainless trim around the windows, top of the doors, wheel well moldings and rocker moldings are in good shape. The front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed. All of the glass is nice. It has new weather stripping and window seals. It sits on a set of 15X7 Chevy Rally wheels with new trim rings, flat center caps and a set of 235/60/15 BFG T/A radial tires.
The red interior is new from the carpet to the headliner. It has all new seat cushions and upholstery, new door panels, armrest bases and pads, handles and window cranks. Looking at the dash area, it has factory gauges and also a knee knocker tachometer. Nothing is cut or broken. There are new dash bezels, knobs and a retro AM/FM radio. The A/C and heater controls slide with ease. Everywhere you look is like new!
The engine compartment is clean with its number matching 396 ci motor casting number 3855961, Holley 4 barrel carburetor, chrome valve covers and chrome air cleaner, HEI ignition, a set of ceramic coated Hooker competition long tube headers. It runs cool with its Harrison 4 core radiator. Other features include a new cadmium plated brake booster with upgraded dual master cylinder, front disc brakes, proportioning valve and correct fan shroud. The engine compartment has a nice satin black finish!
The undercarriage is all clean metal and original. It is nicely painted black. The bottom of the motor is clean as well as the 4 speed transmission. It has a 12 bolt rear end with 3:55 gears. The front end has been rebuilt; ball joints, bushings, shocks and brakes have been completely gone through. It features a factory style dual exhaust system with turbo mufflers. It also has a new gas tank and straps. The E-brake assembly is complete and working.
The trunk is very clean and rust-free metal. It features a trunk mat, spare tire, jack and new weather stripping.
This car is a blast to drive! It is ready to show and go!!
