Classic Car Overview

Breaks my heart to part with her. You know what they say - You can restore it a million times, but its only original once! This old gal is a two owner, one family gem. Garage kept since day one, and it was Grannys car, literally, until fourteen years ago. She bought it brand new in 65. 34,699 original miles and virtually rust free. I believe I still have the original owners manual, the original factory tool kit bundle, and even the tear away coupon dealer scheduled maintenance service booklet. Ninety-nine percent original, except for normal wear and tear items like tires, etc. Pulled the wheels including the spare last year and had them sandblasted and powder coated black, before installing new radial tires. New battery last year too. This car starts easily, purrs like a kitten, shifts like a dream, and rolls down the road smooth as silk. Perfect car for a weekend driver, or an unparalleled opportunity for a show quality restoration. The interior is original, and the upholstery is a bit rough, mostly due to the thread in the seems deteriorating and failing. This car turns heads everywhere she goes, including VW shows where she always draws a crowd. Its hilarious, she can be parked next to a fully restored Bug, and the crowd gathers around this gal.
