1965 Pontiac GTO

This is an "ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS" 65 GTO, PHS Docs that has had a frame off restoration, done in its original Night Watch Blue, basecoat clearcoat, sanded and wheeled smooth, at time of restoration had new tinted windshield; all other glass is factory original softray tint in excellent condition, new weather stripping and window felts, retains all original upper door trim, original driver side remote mirror in very good condition, new door handles, original grills and headlight bezels in excellent condition, re-chromed front bumper, wheel well and rocker moldings look like new, new fender and quarter emblems, taillight bezels have been re-chromed, tail panel applique in excellent condition, re-chromed rear bumper.

Factory blue bucket seat console interior, dash has been reconditioned, factory Rallye gauge package with working tach, AM/FM factory stereo, optional passenger side grab handle, dash trim is original in excellent condition, 3 spoke wood wheel, new headliner and visors - passenger side has factory vanity mirror, new sail panel and deluxe package shelf, new front and rear door panels; as well as arm rest and bases, new front and rear seat covers, factory front seat belts, new carpet and deluxe floor mats, original center console with factory shifter which has been reworked to work correctly with the 200R4 automatic overdrive trans.

Under the hood the original motor has been replaced with a rebuilt YS 400, factory 4 barrel intake, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb with electric choke, updated with electronic ignition, chrome valve covers and breather, heavy duty radiator with correct shroud and fan, power steering, nicely updated with power front disc brakes, front suspension has ben completely gone through, factory exhaust manifolds into 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust out the back, this strong running 400 is backed up with a 200R4 overdrive automatic transmission, factory 10 bolt posi rear with 331 gear, nicely updated with rear sway bar.

Rides on a set of 17 inch Cragar SS wheels all around.
