1965 Pontiac Bonneville. Estate of the late John Wesley Howe, Birmingham, Alabama. VIN. 262375E163576. Mrs Howe believes it is a one owner car. The vehicle has been stored away in the owners basement for years. Appears to be an all original survivor that was repainted at some point years ago. Original V8, automatic. We attempted to start it but believe that is has old fuel. The car turns over but won't hit. Mrs Howe said it has been running and driving in the last 6 months. Alabama does not title vehicles 35 years and older. This car comes with a up to date (2026) Alabama registration. Located at the Pearce Auction Center in Alabaster, Alabama.

About the late owner... John was known by everyone for his love for his friends and family and his interests in anything mechanical, especially vintage automobiles. He simply knew how to fix things! He loved to take things apart and then put them back together just to impress his friends. His first love was this 1965 Pontiac Bonneville that his grandmother bought brand new. She left the car to him in her will and he has cared for it ever since. His second love was a brand new Buick Regal that he personally bought brand new. Lastly, he was passionate about his prized 1967 Chevy truck that he drove everyday. All of these cars and trucks are now being sold by his wife in this auction. She knows that he would prefer that the vehicles go to someone else who would care for then as he did instead of just sitting hidden away in their garage.
