This Minor Tourer was was purchased new at Downtown Motors of Winsor, Ontario an April 24, 1965 by gentleman from Bloomfield Hills, MI where it remained in the same are under two owners until our recent acquisition. The car it is outfitted with its original numbers matching 1098cc 4 cylinder engine, 4 speed transmission and is powered by the rear wheels.
The car has been treated to a selective refurbishment approximately 20 years ago and has been looked after mechanically ever since. Today at 40484 miles, the car retains much originality including the interior, engine bay area and underside. The car presents its self very nicely retaining its original trim and ornaments. Mechanically, this little Morris is a spirited driver and excellent runner featuring great acceleration, smooth shifting and exceptional handling capabilities for a car that is 54 years old. These cars were way ahead of there time as they could achieve nearly 40 miles / gallon. The original convertible top is with the car but is not installed, the convertible top frame is compete and in excellent condition. Other highlights include convertible boot, recent services on master cylinder, brake lines and pads; newer tires, original jack and spare.
