Classic Car Overview

Exceptional Early Pull-Handle Iris Blue, Rust-Free, Fully Sorted

This beautifully presented 1965 MGB is a standout example of the desirable early models, featuring the sought-after pull-handle doors and a vibrant Iris Blue exterior over Navy interior. Showing a believed 82,529 original miles, this MGB combines originality with a quality restoration performed by the previous long-time owner. Documentation including maintenance history, parts, repairs, and restoration work dates back to 1992.

The body and undercarriage are completely rust-free and benefits from a high-quality professional repaint, which presents superbly with excellent depth, gloss, and minimal imperfections. The Navy interior remains clean and true to its period, highlighted by its well-preserved original details. Interior carpets, seats, panels, and dashboard are excellent, with no blemishes to speak of. A period correct Blaupunkt radio is equipped, and the dash face is finished in the correct crinkled black paint.

Mechanically, the car is in great condition. The engine starts immediately, runs well, and has great oil pressure. The gearbox shifts smoothly and precisely, with no gear pop out. All electrical components, lights, and gauges are fully operational. Handling is light, balanced, and communicative as expected for a well sorted MGB. The engine bay is exceptionally clean and tidy.

A spare tire, original jack, and tool set are included with the car, further underscoring how complete and well-kept this MGB is. A very high-quality, fitted tonneau cover is also included, along with a soft top that is in excellent condition, free of rips or tears, with clear rear windows. The undercarriage is exceptionally straight, clean, and completely rust-free, reflecting careful ownership and proper storage throughout its life. This is a truly turnkey example that needs nothing, simply turn the key and enjoy.
