Windy City Warriors

From around 1956 until the mid 1980s, Dodge, Plymouth and even Chrysler squads were the most ubiquitous police cars in North America. In fact, the biggest department, the NYPD, used Plymouth and Dodge squads almost exclusively until the rear-drive M body car was finally axed in 1989.

Savoy Faire is Everywhere

Classic Car Overview

1965 Lincoln Continental 4 door. This car is one of the finest Black Continental's around. The Interior and engine are 100% original - never touched. The exterior was Media Blasted and painted the original Black paint in early 1980's. The car has always been stored inside and for the last 40 years only driven 3,000 miles. This vehicle is one of the best cars I have ever driven. It is tight and handles flawlessly. It is truly a show quality vehicle. The interior is Perfect. Everything works on this car. It has all options available for the 1965 Continental. It is a piece of American History - cars like this were owned by many famous people including past Presidents. This is the last of the early made Luxury cars. These "Slab Cars" as they are called is a pleasure to drive and ride easily comfortable for 6 adults! It is a show stopper with the suicide doors. No matter how many pictures you see here - Nothing does it justice until you see this vehicle. I have the log book when this car was purchased on 12/18/65 with 12,736 miles on it. This log book is from 1965 to current - each time it was gassed up with the mileage, date, gallons purchased and amount spent on that tank of gas. I also have the book showing the 3rd owner purchasing this car 9/4/84 with 73,063 miles in it. Currently is at 77,800 original miles. Own a piece of History - own this car. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. Only serious inquiries please.  Steve at 330-495-3544
