1965 Jaguar E-Type

Beautifully restored 1965 Jaguar XKE Roadster. The 4.2 generation are generally regarded as the best E-Types to actually live with. Theyre not as rare and crazy expensive as the early 3.8s, but have more comfortable seats, more durable interior trim, a torquier engine plus other minor improvements and retain the signature glass-covered headlights and slender secondary lamps.
This was originally a US-delivered car that was given a lengthy and thorough professional restoration several years ago before residing in the prestigious Alan Jones Collection. Now in private ownership, the car is being offered as an exceptionally sharp example still virtually concours-perfect. The Heritage Certificate assures the original engine & cylinder head numbers and the car is resplendent in popular Opalescent Blue with Beige interior & top. The paint is absolutely spectacular!
We have a thick photographic record of the restoration in progress, showing that it was much more than new paint & leather. Significantly, it shows no rust or collision repair being done all the way to bare metal. The complete electrical system, engine, instruments, brakes & chassis were all restored and the only departure from factory spec is a thick-core aluminum radiator to facilitate actually driving the car. Included is an original jack bag, full tool kit & spare.
