This 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback is a professionally built performance restomod that blends iconic first-generation Mustang styling with modern drivability, upgraded performance, and exceptional attention to detail. Powered by a meticulously assembled Ford 302 cubic-inch V8 and paired with a built C4 automatic transmission, this Fastback delivers impressive power, reliability, and unmistakable V8 sound.

The engine has been extensively upgraded with a 302 block bored .060-over and rebuilt 289 cylinder heads featuring Manley 11/32 valves. Performance enhancements include a Comp Cams High Energy 286H hydraulic flat tappet camshaft and lifter kit, Crane steel roller rocker arms, Comp Cams Hi-Tech roller timing set, Edelbrock Performer 289 intake manifold, and a 625 CFM Demon Road Demon carburetor. Ignition is handled by a complete MSD performance system featuring a 6A ignition box, Pro-Billet distributor, Blaster 2 coil, and Super Conductor plug wires. Fuel delivery comes from an Edelbrock Victor Series mechanical fuel pump, while Herman Hi-Tech ceramic-coated headers feed a true dual 2 -inch exhaust system with Flowmaster Super 40 Series mufflers for an aggressive, unmistakable exhaust note.

The engine bay has been finished to an exceptional standard with polished Billet Specialties components, custom engraved flame-themed billet valve covers and air cleaner marked KICKEN 65, chrome pulleys and brackets, polished stainless dress-up trim, chrome shock tower caps, chrome export brace, stainless steel brake and fuel lines, Russell PowerFlex hoses, Billet Specialties hose ends, a WEIAND chrome water pump, Fluidyne aluminum radiator, Cool-Flex stainless radiator hoses, Billet Specialties billet overflow tank, and a Flex-A-Lite electric cooling fan, creating a clean, detailed presentation worthy of any show.

Backing the powerplant is a TCI StreetFighter C4 automatic transmission equipped with a manual/automatic valve body and forward shift pattern, controlled through a B&M performance shifter. A B&M transmission cooler helps maintain operating temperatures, while power is transferred through an 8-inch Ford rear axle with desirable 3.55 gears.

Handling and ride quality have been significantly improved with a complete Grab-A-Trak performance suspension system, including the entire front suspension, performance handling kit, GT leaf springs, rear sway bar, and KYB Gas-A-Just shocks at all four corners. Braking has been upgraded with an MP Brakes front disc brake conversion while retaining rear drums, providing confident stopping performance.

Inside, the cabin continues the custom theme with an outstanding red and white Pony interior complemented by a custom upholstered center console and matching custom-finished trunk. The driver is greeted by Auto Meter Ultra-Lite instrumentation housed in a GT gauge bezel, including matching speedometer and tachometer. Additional upgrades include a Flaming River polished tilt steering column, Billet Specialties 14-inch Rebel steering wheel wrapped in red leather, billet aluminum door handles and window cranks, Total Control aluminum pedals, brushed aluminum glove box insert, and upgraded floor insulation for improved comfort.
