1965 Ford Mustang

We get a lot of early Mustangs here at Carroll Street Classics, so it takes a special example to impress us. This 1965 Mustang coupe has benefitted from a light restoration done over the years and impresses us with its overall package of condition, fun-to-drive factor and affordability.



The body on this coupe is arrow straight and rock-solid, as is the underside. The black respray looks fantastic, and the underside was treated to a cleaning and repainting as well. A set of original wheel covers on a set of whitewall radials adds to the not messed with and "as it rolled out of the factory" vibe.



Inside, the restored red upholstery, including the seats, door panels, dash, and carpet all look like new with only the headliner needing a good cleaning or replacement to make it all pristine.



Under the hood is the sprightly C-code 289 2-barrel V8 that has been rebuilt and provides plenty of pep to move this Mustang out. A three-speed manual gearbox with a Hurst shifter, along with a throaty dual exhaust system, adds a ton of fun to cruising around in this sharp 60s icon. This Mustang is turn-key ready and cant wait to hit your favorite Cars and Coffee spot or take a nice weekend ride along your favorite roads.
