Given that the 21st century has seen a sort of return to the roots aspect for the Mustang, it was probably only a matter of time before the Boss 302 made a return. Over the last few years there's been steady and growing interest in the concept of a new-age Trans Am Special.
Jim Clarke led the charge with the creation of the 5.0 HO V8 for the Mustang in 1982 and was responsible for the continuous improvement of the 5.0 throughout the '80s. What Jim and his team accomplished is truly amazing.

1965 Mustang GT (A-Code)...Roller Nothing was over looked, professional shop build... All of the new parts on the car come from Mike Maier, check out his website and see the craftsmanship of his hand built performance parts for the mustang. His parts are all hand built and top notch. All of the Mike Maier parts were put on and installed by Mike Dusold. None better when it comes to building a car! Check out his website and you will see first hand! All of the sand blasting and rust repair was performed by North Texas Customs Here is everything that I can think of: In no particular order and Im sure I will forget something... I was building this car with the intent on making it safer, better, and more reliable than your run of the mill stamped parts, everything on this car is brand new-it may be over kill on the parts, but the quality is A+++. I wanted to build something that I felt safe driving my kids around in!!! The car was put on a ROTISSERIE (I wanted it done correct!!) Car has been blasted, primed, ZERO rust...all 4 quarter panels are original Lizard skin on the inside (heat and sound coating)...doors and roof also Under side of car has been lined also Torque Boxes Tubular upper and lower A arms with coilovers Bigger/Strong Spindles (1970) 1 1/8 sway bar Panhard Kit for the rear Willwood brakes (not installed, still in box, slotted) Front-Superlite, Rear-Dynalite 4 Chassis Stiffening Kit: Full Sub Frame Connectors (not installed), X brace (not installed), Tower Brace 9 inch Ford rear end (powder coated and tabbed) 1 inch lower blocks New Leaf springs/Shackles 3rd Member: 3.70 ring gear with Tru-trac New Front Hood New Trunk 17x8 Rims (LT-III, Team Three Wheels) Everything that is listed above is all BRAND NEW, nothing is used, some of it is installed and some come with the car, I havent had time to get it done. I have the front seats, rear seat, steering column, both driver and passenger glass, plus the rear quarter glass--all this stuff is original to the car, not new I DO NOT HAVE THE ENGINE...the car does not come with an engine! As you can see from the pics, I was building this car from the ground up and making sure all the parts are top notch and nothing was overlooked...
