Classic Car Overview
This is a 1964 1/2 Mustang Coupe. I am the 3rd owner of this car. It has won numerous awards including a 2nd place finish during a Classic Mustang meet with over 400 cars being shown. These are actual miles! It is a rare find since it is truly an original car. Outside of a left fender replacement 6 months after it was purchased the rest of the paint, interior, frame, body, exhaust system, wheels, engine, transmission , carpet, paneling, lighting, interior trim, mileage and seats are all original. I put in a AM/FM cassette in the vehicle when I purchased it. I still have the original AM radio at home. The engine is a 260 V8 automatic with a console which is rare. I have the original buyer's order along with the original documents that came with the car. I took a photo of the trunk interior showing that the wheel wells are still covered with the factory boarding along with the rear license plate holder that still has the paper jack instruction plate on it. You would be hard pressed to find a survivor original Mustang like this one. Body Color trim and date placard shows Color M which is Wimbledon White, trim code is 85 which is Red Luxury, DSO code is 13 which is the code from the district which ordered the car (New York), Engine Code is F which is a 260 V8 and Code 6 is C-4 which is an Automatic Transmission. The F code in the VIN number indicates it was built at the Dearborn Assembly plant and the other F Code in the VIN number indicates it is a 1964 1/2. The car was built in June of 1964.
