1965 Ford Mustang
Car for sale by Motorcar Portfolio in Canton, Ohio 44702
Given that the 21st century has seen a sort of return to the roots aspect for the Mustang, it was probably only a matter of time before the Boss 302 made a return. Over the last few years there's been steady and growing interest in the concept of a new-age Trans Am Special.
Jim Clarke led the charge with the creation of the 5.0 HO V8 for the Mustang in 1982 and was responsible for the continuous improvement of the 5.0 throughout the '80s. What Jim and his team accomplished is truly amazing.

DSO was Los Angeles. Near perfect body with a excellent respray in correct Ivy (Dark) Green and standard Mustang black interior, for a real performance look and feel. All chrome is excellent. New correct Mustang chrome rally wheels and dual U.S. Royal red stripe tires. Runs and drives great, very good brakes and recent dual exhaust. Hard to find. and Especially in this condition. Correct numbers car with exception of upgraded carb. and manifold which work great and stock Autolite units are available for the purest. Correct harmonic balancer, exhuast manifolds. Pertronix is installed in distributor but original dual point unit comes with car. Since photos were taken we have added for safety, new, correct Mustang side mirrors and seat belts. K-code solid lifter Mustangs constitute a small fraction of total production. They should not be taken lightly or confused with other 289 versions of lower horsepower. If anything we think the K cars are rated a bit on the low side. GT-350's were based on K-code Mustangs before being upgraded even more by Shelby. This car is hot, and a ball to drive. Some extra parts come with car from original owner as well. While we know the cars history from new, we did not get a lot of original paper work with the purchase. This is a car well worth the trip to come see it. Since photos Shipping and financing available.
