Vehicle Overview

1965 Ford Galaxie 500. Runs and moves but needs work to be roadworthy. A new alternator was just installed and the battery was just checked. There's a bit of body damage on the rear left quarter panel and a few small dings here and there. Interior needs work. The 390 FE engine and 3 speed Cruise-O-Matic are both working as they should. Trunk pan is rusted through in sections and the backseat floor pans are stable. Includes a few various trim pieces. Has the original steel wheels with newer tires on them. Frame is good.

Mechanical

It has a 390 FE V8 with a 3 speed Cruise-O-Matic transmission. The shocks and suspension need servicing for the car to be roadworthy. The dual exhaust is missing the tailpipes and there are some broken exhaust manifold bolts and leaks - the pipes themselves are intact. The steering needs adjusted and the car could use an alignment. The 390 runs but it will need a tune up to run smoothly. The Edelbrock carb likely should be cleaned.

Exterior

The car was repainted at some point along the way from its original blue-green color to black. The paint is rough but it isn't rusted. The windshield has a crack across the middle that will prevent the car from being roadworthy until it is replaced. All the other windows are good. It is missing the front bumper. there are small dents and blemishes all around the car and a larger dent on the rear right quarter panel. Most of the trim pieces are missing.

Interior

The front bench seat is very worn and it has a cover over the original torn up material. The front seat does have the rare power seat controls that still work. The back seats are still usable but they are sun faded and slightly torn. The dash is cracked and faded. The headliner and carpet have been fully removed.
