Classic Car Overview

We are pleased to present this 1965 Dodge Dart GT Charger . This completely restored Charger has the original 273ci V8 with the 4 barrel carburetor in the correct Yellow paint and correct vinyl top. It is extremely rare as there were only 480 badged as the Dart GT Charger and only a handful known to exist today. The restoration was completed in 2015 in Chester, Virginia. It was built at the Chrysler Assemble plant in Maywood California on February 23, 1965 and Shipped to Barcus Motors in Roseburg Oregon where it was sold to the first owner on April 5, 1965. The transmission is the A-833 Close Ratio 4-Speed Manual with original Hurst Shifter. The rear axle was converted to the 3.55 Posi-traction during restoration. It has a single exhaust including the original Chrysler resonator. It has the original factory installed AM radio with rear speaker plus equalizer. The engine was totally rebuilt. The pistons are .030 oversize with 9.8 compression ratio. Original ratio was 10.5. It has hardened valve seats for use with unleaded gas. The transmission has new synchronizer and bearings with new clutch and pressure plate. It has all new brakes and bearings, new shocks and all suspension parts were bead blasted. The front end was completely rebuilt as well. The paint is in fantastic condition and the interior is amazing. The 14 inch tires with the Cragar mag wheels sets this car off just right. This car has all the documentation including Original Broadcast sheet, original title, certified production record, copy of window sticker and two binders of information that also have the restoration pictures.
