1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

This clean, straight & solid Stingray coupe has been in the current owners family for over fifty years! During its prior life it was color changed and the block was swapped, but its always been a 4-speed and managed to avoid accident damage & frame rust.
Originally silver, the car has been blue longer than most of the prospective buyers will have been alive. The car was originally a 350hp 327 and is reported to retain the original heads, Holley carb & hydraulic lifters (it has the correct L79 6500 rpm tach & 80 psi oil pressure gauge). The car runs great, shifts well and drives like a C2 should. No, its not a potential show contender and it could still use some hand work detailing under the hood. The fiberglass is smooth with no hairline cracks or spiderwebbing.
Years ago when the black vinyl was too hot during the summer, quality textured nylon cloth was professionally installed on the seating surfaces. The dash, instruments & clock are in nice shape (it was a radio-delete car) and the carpets, door cards and headliner are nice, too. Our shop has just installed a new windshield, OEM-style radiator, new battery and correct red-line radial tires. We buffed out the paint and polished the chrome, so its a really nice if-not-correct C2 that will be a great driver car for someone who can spiff it up a bit further in his garage.
