FEDERAL EMISSIONS REGULATIONS VEHICLE COMPLIANCE -- STARTING 1975 AND NEWER:
Beginning in 1975, the Federal Government mandated that all new vehicles must meet specific emissions regulations. Auto manufacturers complied with these regulations starting in 1975 by installing various emissions control devices on every new vehicle produced including Corvettes. These regulations continue to be enforced on all models up to this present year.
All vehicles starting with the 1975 model year must have their emissions control systems active and operating properly. Removal of these emission controls installed on any Corvette starting with the 1975 model year is a Federal Offense and subject to significant fines. Check with your state and county government for compliance details pertaining to the model year Corvette you will be purchasing.
TheVetteNet.com cannot guarantee any vehicle 1975 or newer we have listed for sale will pass the emissions inspection in your state. It is your responsibility to make whatever repairs necessary so your vehicle will pass your local mandatory emission tests in your state. That may require replacing any missing emissions component(s) that was factory installed that model year

We are proud to bring to your attention a beautiful example of a desirable Triple Black, 327/365 Convertible in excellent condition. It sustained a thorough off-frame restoration with extraordinary attention to detail, virtually everything being addressed, looking and performing like new... Even the windshield wiper nipples and glove compartment liner were replaced with new parts.
Car came from the factory equipped with the optional L76, 327/365 engine according to usual tell tale signs like the 6500 Red line tachometer and 80 lbs Oil gauge, however, presently it features a period correct 327 engine with was rebuilt to 365 specs. Cam, valves, block and heads were done at Jim Grubbs Motorsports of Valencia CA, one of the most reputable engine shops in the country. Headers and MFD ignition were added, along with a replacement knock-off wheels. Everything on the car is in working order: headlight, gauges, instruments, horn, clock, etc. It comes with the optional Hard top in excellent condition and no soft top. Car was recently serviced, engine oil, filter, lubrication all done.
The result is pretty much a "like new" 1965 Corvette in a stunning color combo, ready for the road and show. Here is your chance to own and enjoy a desirable Mid-year Convertible.
