1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

Built for only five years, the second generation of the Corvette was built for model years 1963 through 1967 and in my opinion for the time would encompass both American sports car and ride the line of Muscle car as well. This would also be the first time Corvette would introduce a true hardtop and in 1963 for the first year would probably be the pinnacle of car with a fixed roof and a split rear window. The inspiration behind this is said to be the Bugatti Atlantique coupe. This particular killer example was originally finished in Glenn Green but has since been painted to Red. This is a numbers matching example with a break down of numbers in the pictures as well as original window sticker, owners manual , bill-of-sale and receipts of all recent work done including a new frame and many more parts to list. This is one of the smoothest starting, running, steering and shifting Corvettes that I have personally driven. It starts right up with the snap of the key and idles instantly with no smoke. There are no rattles, funky smells, leaks or shakes. The paint is good driver quality as is the interior. The chrome and brite work is very nice and the convertible top is brand new. Nothing mechanical has not been touched as has the fuel system, brakes and suspension. This car has a lot of really good paperwork to accompany the car and the car itself is ready to be driven and enjoyed. We welcome any questions and third party inspections at any time.
