This Corvette just exudes originality and Corvette small block performance from the minute you open the hood and see the 350 cubic inch small block Chevrolet crate engine in it with a big block hood, aluminum intake, 4-barrel carburetor, chrome open air cleaner, aluminum intake, Accel electrical components including the distributor, aluminum finned Chevrolet logo valve covers, aluminum radiator, air conditioning, chrome alternator, exhaust tube manifolds leading out the side pipes, disc brakes, and shifts the power through the 4-speed manual transmission and HD rear differential, with that engine sitting in a very clean, painted, and detailed engine compartment.

It rolls on knock off wheels with spinners and is shod with Red Line sidewall tires for the factory look and stance, as well as the ride and it that gives sprightly around-town performance and cruises at highway speeds at no more than an easy loaf.

Interior

This restored Sting Ray offers a completely luxurious driving environment. Ours has an all new red leather interior with nothing untouched and features red individual twin bucket seats that have a factory bolster-like design for more seating comfort and better lateral support.

It has matching red door panels, dual sun visors, console with the 4-speed shifter, controls for the outside-air-type heater and defroster and added air conditioning located on the central console along with the electrical clock and radio controls vent controls that are located under the instrument panel on each side of the steering column, and red carpet, clear mats, and red Corvette floor mats.

Matched speedometer and tachometer are the primary instruments in the Sting Ray with a re-settable trip odometer, head-light switch, radio, head-lamp retractor switch, hood release, AM-FM radio, four-position ignition switch to complete the instrument panel, with the great factory red steering wheel also.

Exterior

The styling on our 1965 Chevrolet Corvette is beautiful and ours is covered with its great white paint job flowing over the big block hood with offsetting side pipes, and louvers behind the front wheels that help increase air flow through the engine compartment, giving it both an aggressive and sophisticated look.

All the emblems, the chrome bumpers and taillights, door handles, and the flip-up gas cap remain in restored as-new condition as well as the knock-off wheels with tri-bar spinners and Red Line tires which recreate the original look.
