Classic Car Overview

The 1965 Chevrolet C10 sits in a special place in truck history. This was the first year Chevrolet offered the C10 with a proper V8 engine option, and the C/K truck line went on to break all-time sales records in 1964, 1965, and 1966 three years running, cementing Chevrolet as the dominant force in the American truck market. The body that carried all of that success is one of the most recognizable and loved shapes in classic truck history, with clean lines and proportions that have aged better than almost anything from the era. This one is finished in red and has been given a restomod build that takes that classic body and puts it on a completely different level.

Under the hood and underneath is a complete 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 drivetrain, frame, and running gear. The 5.3 liter V8 is backed by a six speed automatic, and four-wheel drive is on tap whenever the road gets rough. Remote start, power running boards, and a lift round out a truck that is set up for real-world use. Seventeen inch chrome American Racing wheels and a wooden bed finish the exterior with the right combination of classic and custom.

Inside is where this build truly separates itself from most. The entire interior comes from the 2015 Silverado, meaning everything that works in a current Silverado works exactly the same way in this truck. Black leather Silverado seats, modern climate control, power everything, and every switch, button, and feature operating as it was designed to, all sitting inside a body that looks like it belongs at a show in 1965. It is the best of both worlds done properly.
