Buick Skylark models from the late '60s and early '70s are the real bargains when it comes to classic cars. Each time I start looking at old cars, I gravitate toward the Buick Skylark, Oldsmobile F-85 and Pontiac Catalina.

Classic Car Overview

I am selling my 1965 Buick Skylark that I have owned for 11 Years. The cars interior is all original.  In 2012 I installed a 490HP professionally built GM 383 from MPG/TNT racing in Illinois.  I installed a professionally built turbo 400 with a 3500 stall. Hedman headers with 2.5 tubing and origional 40 series Flowmaster mufflers. Complete Hotchkis rear suspension. A 1965 GM 12 bolt rear end  professionally built out of a 1965 Chevelle. Rear end also  has disc brakes and a locker. B&M shifter.  In 2021 the front end was completely replaced including springs, shocks, upper and lower ball joints,  and wheel bearings. Gas tank has a sump kit with a Holley electric fuel pump. The car has 17 inch torque thrust wheels on it now but also comes with a set of 16 inch steelie wheels painted body color with Chevy dog dish caps and red stripe tires that are like brand new. The car runs and drives beautiful with tons of power and a great ride. Just a super fun car to drive.  The drivetrain has maybe 5K miles on it since it was done. The engine oil and filter are changed every season when it gets out of heated storage.  We only drive the car once and a while to the occasional local car show or for ice cream. I am selling the car because we just do not use it very often, maybe 6 weekends a summer and I do not have the time for it anymore.  Please call or text me with any questions.
