Classic Car Overview
This 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT is said to have been modified for track use in the 1960s and later competed in SVRA events.
The car was previously listed on BaT in October 2018 and was acquired by the seller in 2020.
Subsequent work consisted of installing a replacement 2.0-liter inline-four, rebuilding the five-speed manual transmission, refinishing the interior in white, and refinishing the body in red and white.
Additional equipment includes Alfaholics fender flares, a light bar, 15 alloy wheels, an Autodelta sliding block, and an Autodelta exhaust in addition to Alfaholics low-back bucket seats, Crow Enterprizes four-point harnesses, a roll cage, a fire extinguisher, and an ATL fuel cell.
This Sprint is now offered with a clean California title in the sellers name.
The seller notes that the body was refinished in red and white in 2021 and fitted with an Alfaholics light bar and fender flares.
Additional equipment includes sliding side windows, a left-side mirror, and latches for the hood and trunk lid. Holes are present where the rear bumper was mounted.
Alfaholics 15 wheels are mounted with 205/50 front and 225/50 rear Toyo Proxes R888R tires.
The car is equipped with Autodelta front drop spindles, and stopping power is provided by red-finished calipers over disc brakes at all four corners.
The stripped cabin was repainted white under current ownership and features Alfaholics low-back bucket seats fitted with Crow Enterprises four-point harnesses. A roll cage, Alfaholics door cards, Wilwood pedals, and a fire extinguisher are also equipped. Switches are mounted between the seats.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a Jaeger tachometer along with gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and oil temperature. The seller estimates that 500 miles have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 2.0-liter inline-four is said to have been installed in 2021 and features an aluminum radiator and dual Weber carburetors that were rebuilt, per the seller. An Autodelta exhaust exits behind the left door.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission that was reportedly rebuilt in 2021. An Autodelta sliding block is fitted. The fuel lines have been replaced, and the ATL fuel cell is said to have been rebuilt and cleaned following the sellers acquisition.
