--Porsche Zermat Silver with Black Stripes, Black Leather with Black Carpeting, 302 cu. in. V8 engine, T5 5-Speed Gearbox, 13,000 Miles from new. This MK IV Cobra was purchased in 2003 with only 3,000 miles from new from the owner of a Ford Dealership in Trenton, NJ, during first ownership, the stripes were added and the complete car clear coated. When purchased by its most recent and long term owner, the exterior mirrors side mirrors were changed to the current units, and a scoop was added to the bonnet, both were additions recommended by the Detroit Ford SVT Team when the Cobra was shown at an event. At the same time, the team made recommendations for the engine, gearbox as well as its suspension upgrades. The local Ford Dealership had their top Performance Mechanic perform the modifications. Modifications or shall we say, upgrades include: Complete engine rebuild, Mild Cam, GT 40 Aluminium Heads, Headers, Holley Carburetor, Hi Rise Manifold, Custom side pipes with mufflers installed, stiffened suspension with adjustable shocks, lower rear gear ratio and more. Today, this AC Cobra Mk IV has accumulated 13,000 miles from new. It is in superb, serviced condition and has won numerous awards at various events it has taken part in. Rich in AC and Shelby American history, with all-aluminum body fabricated from original AC Cobra bucks, this Cobra has had long term previous ownership, it is in serviced turnkey condition and must be among the finest of its kind. It comes complete with Convertible top and frame included with side curtains, Spare wheel/tire and jack, Coco floor mats, Fire extinguisher as well as Cobra shoulder harness. Never tracked, stored in climate controlled conditions, offered with its original Sales Brochures, and June 1992 Muscle Car Magazine, where this Cobra was featured, this Cobra offers a potent driving experience as only a Cobra can.
