The technical inspection booklet from the Spanish Ministry of Industry documents regular inspections from 1986 through 2019. According to the ITV Barcelona Inspection Booklet from 1967, in the notes, the engine was replaced with a period-correct flat-four SC engine rated at 95 horsepower. In 2017, the engine received a professional top-end rebuild by marque specialist Valentin Motors in Barcelona, Spain. Cosmetically, this 356 has some patina in the paint work, with original trim and brightwork. The interior also has some patina and features a VDM steering wheel, VDO instruments, headrests, and a radio delete plate. The wheels are 4 x 15 chrome slotted wheels mounted to Continental ContiPro Contact 185 65 R15. The undercarriage is solid and rust-free and has been detailed.
