Highly Original and Solid California Car, RARE Twin Trim Tag Car, 389ci V8, Factory A/C, 8-Lug Brakes, Bucket Seats, Power Windows, PHS Documents We are excited to have this sleek car in our inventory! A Gentlemans Musclecar with an interesting feature, not to mention a lot of great options! This is a very rare Twin Tag car, meaning that it has two factory trim tags mounted on the cowl. This is correct and the way it came from the production plant. The PHS paperwork that we have for the car does not specify a color for the car, just that a special order color was ordered. (See Pics) So the Twin Trim Tags make sense. A standard looking Trim Tag shows special under Paint, and the other Trim Tag shows the color as being Goldwood Yellow. Goldwood Yellow was a color that was available in limited numbers on the 64 Impala SS, so long as you wanted a Goldwood Yellow Coupe with Black interior. This car is highly original and shows very well for its age. The body is straight, panels line up just as they should, the interior is in great condition with just a couple small flaws. This Grand Prix was optioned very well for a car of the day with things like bucket seats, retracting seatbelts, Air Conditioning, Console, Electric Clock, Factory Tach, Power Steering, Power Windows, and Power 8-Lug Brakes. Under the hood is a 389ci V8 mated to a M35 Hydromatic Automatic Transmission, giving this car the persona of a Gentlemans Musclecar. It is sleek and classy looking, but the 303 horsepower V8 with 4BBL Carb and Dual Exhaust allows an element of surprise leaving the traffic lights.
