1964 lincoln continental 4 door hard top project The 430 cubic inch v8 that came standard in these vehicles is present and turns over by hand. All the continentals came standard with the 3 speed automatic which is present and intact. The front power windows functional with driver side switches when hooked up to a battery. Rear switches dont seem to have power but with all other features being operational it is likely to assume the motors themselves are also functional with switches not being operational. The floors and underside of the vehicle are solid with little to no indication on penetrating rust. All panels with rust in them have been cut and prepped for metal patching. All components to the vehicle are contained within the car trim, lights, interior odds and ends, all fittings and smaller bits, however the vehicles rear bumper is not present. The Lincoln was parked in a garage in the spring of 1977 by the original owner. Was purchased by a local gentleman who had plans on restoring the vehicle but never got around to completing the project. We saw the end vision of this project and it would be a shame for it to not be finished, so we purchased the vehicle and are offering it up to the next person who wants a totally original and complete 64 to make their own. Make no mistake this vehicle will need everything, however unlike many projects and field cars out there this car is original and incredibly complete. The doors are all solid throughout, all of the interior, seats, carpet, headliner, gauge cluster everything inside is there. The odometer shows 32,000 miles, based of the overall condition when being parked, I am led to believe that would be original to this car.
