Classic Car Overview
The 1964 Ford Falcon was bought and built as a race car by my late friend Todd Ferguson. He did an excellent job. He originally built it to run a Ford Y-block race motor with a C4 trans. The car was stripped and lightened and then the tin work was done. The full cage was just re-certed to 8.50. The rear is a 9" Ford with 4.22 gears and Mark Williams 40 spline spool and axles. The rear suspension is CalTrax with Pensky 7500 series shocks and an aluminum Mark Williams drive shaft. The front clip (fenders, Hood and bumper) are fiberglass. The front suspension and engine bay were converted with a Krites kit. The front disk brakes are Wilwood. All 4 tires are new with only a few passes on them (3 in Phoenix, 5 at Barona.) The car is Wimbleton white with custom graphics and a wing on the back. There are NO fuses in the car it is wired with circuit breakers and relays. The ignition is a programmable MSD Grid system which also controls the air shift powered by a CO2 bottle. Kirkey race seat with extra padding and a fresh 5 point harness certed to Dec 2027. . I put a 385 stroked Cleveland motor and full race C4 in the car. The converter is a custom EDGE racing unit with about 5500 stall. The cams is an Isky with Crower roller lifters. The heads are nascar ported Ford C3 aluminum race heads with T&D rockers. The intake is a 351Y manifold with a Holley XP 1050 dominator. The motor made about 650 on the dyno. MSD crank trigger and Mallory Comp 900 distributor. The car carries the wheel on launch and runs straight. The car is very consistent. It ran 9.907 at Firebird at 134. The car ran 6.349, 6.320, and 6.321 at 108 at Barona 1/8th mile. I am also selling the car trailer. It's a 2019 Mirage 20' with a wedge front. It has 4 almost new tires and a few dings from racing in the NHRA Heritage series. The trailer will be sold with tools, generator, air tank and practice tree. I'm asking $30,000 for the package of car and trailer, or the car is $25000 and the trailer is $7500 separately. If you need more info please contact me.
