This 330 GT 2+2 Series I was first registered in Paris on 24 June 1964, filed under the business name of Socit Franaise de Marques, believed to be the holding company of Parfum Carven and overseen by Mr Georges Baud. The Ferrari was finished in Verde Scuro over a Pelle Beige Scuro interior and specified with a luggage shelf and straps. The car was acquired by Mr Henry Wauquiez in December 1968 and later registered by Garage Beulique in March 1971.
On 28 June 1983, this 330 GT 2+2 was registered with the French licence plate 330 UC 44 . Chassis number 5963 was acquired in 1986 by Marcel Petitjean, a prominent French collector of Ferraris. Mr Petitjean bought the 330 GT from a private French owner in Nantes.
Today, this example is finished in blue while retaining a Beige leather interior and is powered by its matching-numbers engine. After 35 years with Mr Petitjean, the Ferrari was bought at auction by its consigning owner in 2022. It has not been driven in recent ownership, though, so after being kept on static display for a prolonged period as part of the collection, it is recommended that the car is recommissioned before taking to the road again.
