Color Code 922 Ember Red over Trim Code 879 Red Interior with Buckets. Period Correct Casting 3857656 Dealer Replaced 409 Cubic Inch V8 paired to a 4 Speed Manual Transmission. Features Include Bucket Seats With Console, Tachometer, Engine Turned Dash and Exterior Trim, Power Steering, AM Radio, Chrome Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner, Stainless Wheel Covers with Whitewall Tires and more! Purchased NEW From Earl Davis Chevrolet in Mansfield Ohio, this Impala SS was later traded in at Kerr Motors in Shelby Ohio. Don Harveys Brother who worked at Kerr Motors told him about a beautiful 64 Impala SS, which Don would end up purchasing. From 1964 until 2025 this Impala was Garage Kept and very well Cared for. Last driven in 1972, from then on It was kept as a toy and a sunny day driver for the remainder of its life. It was regularly started and detailed during that time! And YES that is the original paint, and the original interior! And both are GORGEOUS! At around 11,000 Miles in 1965 a Dealer Replacement engine was installed under warranty. The Casting Number does line up with that, being a 1965 409. This is a RARE chance to purchase an incredible piece of history! A Beautiful 1964 Impala SS Survivor!
