Classic Car Overview

For sale is a 1964 red corvette that was purchased in 1991. It is located in the region of Georgetown, TX. It has had less than 1000 miles put on it since it was purchased. When purchased it did not have its original engine, but a mid 80's chevy 350 in it. It still has original muncie 4 speed.
I am selling the vehicle for a family member. It has never been in a wreck by us and has a clean title. I do not believe it has ever been in a wreck. It has been driven around less than 1000 miles since it has been owned in 91'. The mileage is not correct on the odometer and it has never worked since we purchased it. The mileage on the title when purchased will list the mileage at purchase. it has never been repainted during our possession.
The mechanical hx of the car is it does NOT have the original engine. We purchased it without the original engine and with the current engine it has in it. I has a chevy 350 from a 80's pickup truck, judging from the stamp code on the block.
The engine was rebuilt in san antonio by city motor supply around 12 years ago They specialize in engine rebuilding. It does have the original muncie 4 speed along with original positraction differential.

All work mentioned so-forth has been done by me. The entire wiring harness has been replaced with a lectric limited corvette reproduction, radiator along with fan , fan clutch, entire front suspension, new brake lines, and front brakes were converted from drums from C2 corvette to a C3 4- piston corvette brakes. A dual master cylinder was installed it was going to be converted to power brakes but after installation the power booster it was not working, so then it was just converted back to manual dual master cylinder brakes. Brakes were reconditioned all around. I have dynamat sound denting floor mat that was never installed and have a reproduction gas tank along with new sender and tank straps that was never installed due to time constraints. The current tank has small rust in it and I believe has a small leak that was fixed with sealant but it does need to replaced. I do have the factory original 5 steel wheels and 4 hubcaps in excellent condition. A flowmaster exhaust was installed ~9 rs ago. The paint did have a few spider like cracks in it on the hood/ front valence fiberglass and unfortunately the left front body behind the headlight cracked a little when a friend was helping to install the engine and he was leaning up on the fiberglass. That was repaired along with the other areas and never repainted. There were also alot of odds and ends that were replaced on the vehicle during the years but I cannot mention them all. All items were either purchased from corvette specialty websites such as zip corvette, corvette central or local orielly or auto zone part stores.
Things the car will need/to be addressed: The has not run in 4 years but it ran when we parked it but probably needs to have carb rebuilt and for sure has to have new gas tank placed in and likley a new battery. The vehicle also did have small exhaust manifold leak on Left side because it would occasionally back fire after it warmed up. The headlight toggle switch to rotate the headlights stopped working around 3 years ago and I have not addressed it. The vehicle will come with repair books and other odds and ends for the vehicle including the corvette emblem missing from the front of the hood. It was removed when driving due it not fitting snugly and not wanting it to come off when driving. Please let me know if any questions. It is sold as is and Local pickup only. Please contact me on Whatsapp (preferably). Thanks, David G
