A Smeding Performance Extreme 383ci V8 crate engine was installed in 2018 fitted with Corvette-script aluminum valve covers, a chrome air-cleaner cover, painted aluminum cylinder heads, an Edelbrock intake manifold, an MSD tachometer-drive distributor, a 45,000-volt ignition coil, and a dual-core radiator. The water pump, the alternator, and the harmonic balancer have been replaced

A dynamometer sheet from November 2016 shows a maximum output of 465 horsepower and 483 lb-ft of torque.

The removed numbers-matching L84 327ci V8, fuel-injection assembly, air snorkel, and Muncie four-speed manual transmission are included in the sale.

The original engine is in running condition but should be refurbished prior to being installed in a vehicle.
