1964 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

We have just received this superb 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS Sport Coupe on consignment. The seller is a long time collector and customer of ours. Unfortunately, he has limited space for his collection and has decided its time to sell this car.

The seller rarely drove this car since purchased and only put two-hundred and nine miles on the car since.

Otherwise, this car was covered in a climate controlled facility amongst the sellers collection. It now sits covered in our showroom.

This car went through a two-decade restoration spanning from 2001-2022. There is a binder full of restoration photos including the frame-off rotisserie and engine building phases.

During the restoration, a rebuilt 350ci V8 with an Edelbrock intake manifold, four-barrel carburetor, and finned valve covers replaced the original 327 motor.
With the rebuilt motor, a Champion aluminum radiator and Powermaster alternator were installed and the suspension had a full overhaul.

Under the sellers ownership, additional improvements have been made such as:
- New seatbelts and retractors
- New OEM two-spoke wooden steering wheel
- New chrome trim for side, trunk, and headlights
- New taillight housing assembly
- New center caps for wheels
- New spare tire
- New horn

There are many receipts and documents for the entire restoration including parts catalogs, manuals, and Chevelle literature.
The paint is a beautiful metallic red and does not have any fading, haze, or peeling. This car does not need any trim pieces replaced or restored and its all in fantastic condition.

The interior is in amazing condition too and is not missing buttons or switches like many cars this age. There are no cracks on the dash or odors in the car.

The seats do not have cracks, rips, tears, or stains and are very comfortable.

The new OEM two-spoke woodgrain steering wheel is gorgeous and the headliner is not sagging, ripped, or stained.

In the trunk, the new spare is securely mounted and under the spare is where the jack and tire iron are located. The trunk does not have any rot or leaks.
Under the car follows suit and is very clean and well-kept.

The rebuilt 350ci V8 fits greats in the engine bay and looks spectacular with the Edelbrock intake, finned valve covers, and orange engine paint.

Overview of my opinions:
drives amazing ~ this car starts right up with no issues and idles great with that classic American muscle sound
fantastic power delivery ~ the throttle is very tight and responsive like it should be and ready to deliver all the power you ask for
great suspension ~ this car is very comfortable and cruises over rough asphalt with no issues
absolutely zero funky odors ~ there are no funky odors at all and this is definitely not a smoker car
