VW Kombi Van Seeing Resurgence in Popularity

The Volkswagen Kombi van reached iconic status, with even a school lunch box fashioned in its image. During those early years, the Volkswagen Microbus morphed into various forms. Classic Car Overview

1964 Austin Healey 3000 BJ8

I rescued this car from a garage that it had been sitting in since 1994. Since I bought it I have replaced many parts of the car and got it running. The car will still need some work to be brought to be road-worthy but it is a great solid start. The car has some frame damage that was done prior to my ownership but looks like it could be fixed fairly easily. The oil pan has been pretty beaten up as well but may replace that before the car sells. The car will run but seems like it needs a good carb cleaning.

The new parts include: A gas tank, exhaust, convertible top, battery, all new interior (seats, door panels, rear interior panels, center console), new rear drum brake pads and wheel cylinders, new front calipers and brake pads, front brake lines to calipers have been replaced, new master cylinder for clutch and brakes, new brake fluid reservoir and a new top cover still in the plastic.

There is one weird part about this car that has me stumped. I have replaced all the above brake parts and bled the system multiple times and can not seem to get a firm pedal. I have searched for leaks and have not found any. I am completely lost on this issue. The main reason for selling this car is I bought it as a fun project and I just dont have the time for it any longer.
