Classic Car Overview

1963 Porsche 356 for sale. Single family owned since new, this 356 was ordered from the Eugene, Oregon dealership with European delivery option by the owner's father. Originally a black car with a red interior. A few years after purchase, the original owner suddenly passed away and left the car to his son who is the current owner.  In the mid 70's the car was painted silver in a full engine and glass out respray. At the same time the interior was refreshed and color changed to black vinyl. In 1980 the car was garaged (in good working order) and left for a few decades.

In 2019 the car was refreshed so it would be a reliable driver by the Crumpton's in Oregon (notable Mercedes Gullwing restorers). They put in a new fuel tank, went through the brake system (new shoes, lines, wheel cylinders, and a new master as well) and put shocks and an exhaust on it, cleaned up the interior and put new carpets in. Motor work was cosmetic and the engine and transmission are still original and unopened. New coils, plugs, plug wires were installed as well as new Webber carburetors from Stoddard. The original carbs need new bushings put in for the butterfly shaft but will come with the car. Transmission has not been rebuilt and is still quiet.  Owner has put less than 1,000 miles on it since the refresh and the mileage has not rolled over- it's a true 74k mile car, odometer has not rolled over. Never stored outside- always garage kept. A few small spots of surface rust on the car but nothing concerning and the floor pan seems to be in great shape. Bumpers are included but not on the car and the bumper hole covers are easily removable to reinstall the bumpers. Sunroof is inoperable.

Some of the original paperwork and booklets are included along with the original tools and tool kit.

New tires were installed in the fall of 2023.

Photos of chassis, engine, and transmission number markings included in the listing.
