Classic Car Overview

This 1963 Morgan has had continuous ownership since 1972 with the seller being its third owner.

It was imported into the USA June 12,1963, from Morgan Motors Worcestershire, England, to Fergus Motors, New York City. Fergus #23448. The original paint color was Westminster green and original upholstery black leather.

It is a left-hand drive, USA spec. disc wheels/brakes, 5.6 x 15 tires, bonnet strap, heater, defroster, seat belts, tonneau cover and sliding side screens.

The options and special equipment available in 1963 include bonnet louvers, full tonneau cover, rear bumper, recirculating heater and wire wheels.

Add-ons are two storage bins in rear deck. A hot point, water temperature gauge, lockable flip gas cap.

Restored with new black leather interior, new full tonneau, rebuilt heater, rebuilt rear shocks, and re-chromed rear bumper. It has original 15 inch pierced steel disc wheels upgraded to wire with new vintage seat belts.

The engine was rebuilt with original Zenith carburetor replaced with Weber DCVG, larger pistons and radiator. The battery was moved from the rear to engine compartment for ease of servicing.

The wheel base is 8 ft., Overall length 12 ft., Height 4 ft, 2 in. Kent Ford engine 116E ohv. Engine upgraded to 1496 cc. Steering cam-gear cam-and-peg. Weight 1456 pounds, dry.

Width 4 ft 8 in. Cylinders 4, 65 bhp. Chassis Z section. Transmission 4-speed synchromesh.

Additional items include zippered storage bags for side curtains and top, additional steering wheels, curtain mural depicting Morgan factory, outdoor cover, hand tools kits, and comprehensive paper records documenting restoration.
