Classic Car Overview

Stunning 1963 Lincoln Continental Convertible.  This very low milage car is in excellent condition, has always been garage kept and pampered.  Loaded with features to include air conditioning, automatic headlight dimmer, 6 way power seats and power windows including the vent windows.  The tops works perfecty as do all 6 windows from all window switches.  The body is lazer straight and the paint is beautiful and shinny.  There are a few blemishes on the hood, one on the trunk and 2 on the sides, almost too minor to mention and usually have to be pointed out.  The chrome is fantastic, no pitting and very straight and shinny.  The original interior is very nice, the red crinkle leather (code 83) is still soft, the door panels are great and the dash is perfect, no fadding or cracking.  The carpet is original but was re-dyed the original color at some point, and all 4 original Linclon floor mats are in excellent condition.  The trunk area is in excellent condtion and is complete with the spare tire, origianl jack and tools. The engine department is also in excellent condition and very well maintained.   The top is in okay condition, no tears and is soft. Only the best parts, keeping it original, were ever used.  The under carriage is fantastic, no damage, rust or any type of repair, the factory undercoating almost looks new.  The exhaust system has not been modified, there are still 2 mufflers and 2 resinators as it was when it came from the factory.  To prepare the car for sale, $6,000 was spent on recent repairs and maintenance includes:  New brakes to include shoes, brake lines, cylinders and hardware, repack wheel bearings, all hoses, manifold gasket, intake gasket, lifter valley gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, REAR MAIN SEAL, rebuilt steering box, upper control arm bushings, transmission filter and all fluids.  Original style and size BF Goodrich tires are in excellent condition, but older, the will be re-balanced this week along with an alignment.  With the exception of the clock which is unhooked, all of the guages work, the fuel guage, temp guage, speedometor and power antenna.  All of the lights are working perfectly including the interior gauge lights, all 4 door lights, turn signals, brake lights, head lights, rear lights and even the glove box light.  A retro radio was installed, the original AM radio is included along with shop manuals, owners manual, maintenance manual and even the color showroom brochure and marble Lincoln paperweight given to the original owner.  Matching rear seatbelts were installed, the front seatbelts have not been, but are included in the sale.  Original keys, vintage Linclon key chain and period correct 1963 Maryland tags are included in the sale.  For any history buffs, this car is identical to the car that John F Kennedy was taken to Love Field.  If you have any questions or need any additional information or pictures, please feel free to call or text me at 443-223-6840.
