A car Enzo Ferrari called the most beautiful car ever made, the Jaguar E-Type is considered by many to be one of the most gorgeous automobiles ever built. It took the automotive world by storm upon its unveiling at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show and still continues to turn heads to this day. Underneath its gorgeous, aerodynamic exterior were several state-of-the-art features including four-wheel independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes. A rack-and-pinion unit provided responsive steering and helped to make the E-type one of the best handling cars of the era.

Power was initially provided by the 3.8 liter straight-six from the XK150S. Producing 265 horsepower, the E-type was capable of more than 150mph. Combined, these features made the E-type one of the most celebrated sports cars ever produced with incredible power, handling, braking, and style that rivaled anything else Europe produced. With such timeless appeal and praised appearance, it is no wonder why a Series I E-Type roadster is one of only a handful of motorcars on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Coveted in its day by the most sporting of drivers, the E-type still remains one of the most sought-after cars in history, especially in Series I Roadster form.

The incredible 1963 Jaguar E-type Series I 3.8 Roadster featured here is finished in gorgeous Ivory over a Dark Red leather interior with a Black folding convertible top. This exquisite motorcar was subject to a multi-year show-quality restoration performed by renowned marque expert. David Ferguson. Driven just 450 miles from completion, this stunning E-Type is now ready for its next caretaker. With nearly $300,000 spent on the restoration alone, a matching numbers engine, and highly desirable color combination, this is the perfect Jaguar to add to any premier collection. We are proud to offer what we believe to be one of the very best examples to be found on the market today to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires to own one of the very best an investment price!
