Classic Car Overview

1963 JAGUAR E-TYPE 3.8 LITER SERIES 1 ROADSTER:

--Red with Tan leather interior, Tan carpeting and Tan convertible top, Complete nut and bolt restoration, Award winner, Well-known to Autosport Designs, Exceptional throughout.

Since its restoration this E-type has always been maintained regardless of use. Having won approximately 100 first place awards, Best of Show and Best in Class awards over the years, it is not only a superb concours contestant, it is also one of the best driving E-types we have had the pleasure of owning and supplying. It has been well known in Jaguar Club circles and most recently been enjoyed in both Greenwich, Connecticut and Palm Beach, Florida residences. Having retired from the concours circuit, it has been updated with radial tires, an auxiliary cooling fan and even a modern radio with CD changer.

It has remained in previous ownership for the last 15 years and always well cared for and maintained within a collection of early 1960s European sports cars and grand tourers. This Jag is well-sorted, serviced and perfect for both long range touring-rallies as well as for use around town.

One of the most iconic sports cars of all time, this E-type Roadster represents the very best in build quality and craftsmanship throughout. Included with the sale are Service handbook, a period Jaguar routine maintenance poster, tool kit, jack and knock-off hammer. A recent road test attests to the car performing flawlessly in every way, and it is indeed ready for immediate use and enjoyment.
