1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Convertible is a pleasure to drive and quite dependable. Not a perfect show car, but a real head turner. Have owned the car for the past 6 years and there is no reason to believe that this car does not represent itself as original throughout. Purchased this car in Florida, it was titled in Georgia prior to that had and has been garaged kept since arriving in Indiana in 2013. VIN indicates that the engine, drive units, colors (interior & exterior) and trim are as when it came off of the assembly line in Louisville in February 1963. It is a 352 cu. in. (220 hp) 2 barrel carburetor and a cruise-o-matic transmission. Just under 81,000 miles on the car. Wonderful driver, stored indoors. Needs top and one may choose to replace, improve interior. Solid car.
