From around 1956 until the mid 1980s, Dodge, Plymouth and even Chrysler squads were the most ubiquitous police cars in North America. In fact, the biggest department, the NYPD, used Plymouth and Dodge squads almost exclusively until the rear-drive M body car was finally axed in 1989.

Classic Car Overview
1963 Ford Falcon $24,000
Everyone loves a car with a story! We purchased the car from the original family that bought her in 1963 and she comes heavily documented. In 1963 an excited wife awaited her husbands return home from his last tour in Vietnam. This car was his WELCOME HOME gift! Later the couple had a special needs child that loved to ride in the car with the top down, and loved the attention the car brought at local car shows. In 2007 the owner passed away and his widow packed the car away. Several years later the couples niece got the car and the little Falcon was restored with a new paint job, lots of detailing and some fat white walls. The car was again used for local drives and area car shows, hence the low miles.
My wife learned to drive in her grandmothers Falcon and often talks of the fondness she had of spending time on her grandmothers farm. So, the little Falcon is named Ruth, for my wife's grandmother. I had been looking at Falcons for quite awhile when this little car was posted and since it was a Birth year car for my wife it was a no brainer. The car was purchased and shipped as a late Christmas present last year.
1963 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible 170CI with the Fordomatic transmission. Runs as smooth as a sewing machine. Buckets and console, interior is in great shape with one small blemish in the drivers seat. Appears to be the original top, couple of small blems on a couple pieces of trim, but again, it's a restored driver. No rust, paint looks great!
59,935 documented miles, Original Bill Of Sale, Original finance paperwork Video is from the company we purchased the Falcon from.
