Classic Car Overview

1963 Ford Fairlane 500 two-door hardtop, body code 65A. Features a recently rebuilt 351 Windsor engine with approximately 600 miles on it, paired with a C4 automatic transmission, and power brakes. Burgundy metallic paint with the iconic fiberglass hood, with hood pins. The car rides on polished American Racing five-spoke wheels with disc brakes in the front. Few minor imperfections in the chrome and paint, and the tires show signs of aging. Inside, a chestnut vinyl bench seat, stock and aftermarket gauges, and a B&M floor shifter for the automatic transmission. The cabin maintains an original look with some wear, especially on the drivers seat bottom, but overall remains well-kept. The rear and side windows are tinted darker than stock. Great looking nicely painted engine bay, with Ford racing valvecovers. Recent mechanical upgrades include Hedman headers, aluminum radiator with electric fans, a rebuilt Holley four-barrel carburetor, a newer battery and fuel pump, starter, and alternator. Gauges work except for the temperature gauge, which is non-functional. The car starts smoothly, runs with a great rumble from the Windsor engine, and drives well with responsive brakes and streetable, fun performance. 1963 Ford Fairlane 500 with original body code 65A and recently rebuilt 351 Windsor engine.
