New 1963 Ford Econoline Pickup
Ford’s first-generation off-roader has gone from cult classic to mainstream collector.
The Dodge Li'l Red Express set a standard on how to make a great performance truck. All Dodge Li'l Red Express trucks came from the factory painted in Bright Canyon Red in 1978 and Medium Canyon Red in 1979. Every Li'l Red Express was a regular cab Adventurer with a stepside bed.
Classic Car Overview
SOLD. SOLD. SOLD. 1963 five window Econoline pick up that runs and drives and stops fine. SOLD. SOLD. SOLD. SOLD. Still wearing it’s factory applied original paint inside and out and everything on the truck works: blinkers, lights, horn, heater & wipers… (but the emergency brake doesn’t work…the inside the cab lever is missing but everything for the e-brake under the truck is intact). The engine is the original or original style in-line six cylinder with the three speed transmission shifted on the column. The gas tank is out of the vehicle and laying in the bed of the truck and an external 5 gallon vented container has been placed in the drivers front corner of the bed and the New mechanical fuel pump pumps gas easily to the carburetor… if a customer wants for an additional charge I can buy a new original style gas tank or find and install a fuel cell in that same corner of the truck or in the original under the rear of the bed factory location. The windshield is in excellent condition except for the bull’s-eye type small crack on the driver side about a third of the way up & all of the other glass is good with no delamination or fogging & the vent windows open & shut as they should. The tires and wheels pictured in the pictures DO NOT go with the vehicle but they’re available extra cost of $400… The tires mounted on the 14” torque thrust ‘D’ style wheels are 195/70 R14’s & in like new condition with lots of tread but they are date coded 2012. You can bring your own tires and wheels or we can load the vehicle on your transport vehicle or trailer and then take them off and rest the drums on the bed of the trailer.
As you can see in the pictures there is rust in the lower body panels around the truck and some in the bed floor. The only critical under side rust from what I can see while the truck was on the lift was in the rear Leaf spring shackle mount area…but it seems solid. The shock absorbers will need replaced…they’re there and intact but they are worn out.
