According to its original trim tag, it was produced in the third week of February in 1963 at the General Motors assembly plant in St. Louis, Missouri. Finished in its original and attractive color combination of Riverside Red over a red vinyl interior, it is complete with a color-matched hardtop and white convertible soft top. Adding to the overall car, other features include a drivers side mirror, Hurst shifter, radio, and clock.

Equipped with a 327-cubic-inch V-8 engine that produces 340 horsepower, it features a correct engine block casting and correct date code Carter AFB carburetor. Backing the engine is a Borg-Warner T-10 four-speed manual transmission, that adds to the overall driving experience. Mechanically, 1963 was the debut year for independent rear suspension, which this example has. Other equipment includes four-wheel drum brakes and a correct 3.36 Positraction rear axle.
