Classic Car Overview

From the Greg Grams C-2 luxury and comfort Corvette collection. Greg started selling these corvettes in the early 70s as used cars and kept selling them as they became collector items. Recently he has assembled an impressive collection of 1963-1967 Corvettes focusing on coupes. He has run each one through our shop, they are very functional, dialed in and ready to enjoy. He took the time to assemble display boards with miscellaneous literature, NCRS shipping reports, window stickers and more. Each car comes with a jack and spare. Since the early 70s when he started collecting, these cars have not been known to go down in value. Drive an investment! The legendary Split Window is considered an iconic American automotive design. It also holds steady as one of the most collectable Corvettes of all time. This one has a #s matching high performance engine and factory colors. Ordered as a no-frills, high-performance machine, the 340 hp runs strong without the troubles of the fuel injection. It is an early model with the short stem mirror and storage tray under the seat. A display board with NCRS shipping report and literature is included. EXTERIOR: 1963-1967 coupes are more desirable than the roadsters because of their good looks and that is abundantly true of the 1963 because of that split back window. The body on this car is excellent, I didnt see damage or cracking. It fits real well, the doors shut like new and headlights open properly. The headlight covers are fiberglass which is correct for 1963 only. Repainted its original Riverside Red with a smooth and glossy finish. The jambs are clean and the weathrstrips are soft. The chrome is shiny, the 1 year only hood inserts look new. It has the early short stem mirror. The stainless trim around the windows fits right and looks nice. The knock off wheels are real Kelsey Hays with KH cast on them. Its riding comfortably on radial tires. INTERIOR: My father wanted it fresh inside, it had a very nice original interior that we just went through and updated. Our upholstery guy replaced the carpet front to back. @ sets of mats are included: reproduction and embroidered carpet mats. He also replaced the seat upholstery in genuine leather. The door panels already looked like new. The dash area is very clean: the dash pads are not cracked, the console is nice with correct lock out shifter. The correct 1 year only gauges with the silver center cones are all looking good and they all work including the clock! The interior lights and the Am-Fm radio work too. The headliner looks great. It has the jack and lead hammer in the rear compartment. When you sit in the car and look around you willl be happy. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The motor compartment is very clean and proper. There were 4 versions of the 327 available: a 250hp, 300hp, 340 hp, which this is, and the 360 hp fuelie. Many people prefer the 340 hp because it is much less finicky than a fuelie and still runs strong! This one has its VIN number matching 327-340 hp. We inspected the stamp pad, casting codes and dates. The 340 hp packed a punch! It featured high compression pistons, high lift cam, solid lifters and taller aluminum intake. It was also identified by finned aluminum valve covers. It still appears completely stock including air cleaner, ignition shielding, fuel filter, etc. The radiator is dated 1962, the original expansion tank is still in place. UNDERSIDE: This is the first year for front and rear independent suspension. Of course we inspected it ands several suspension and steering components look like they have been replaced. The brake system is working properly, the e-brake is hooked up. New exhaust was upgraded with stainless Magnaflow mufflers; the correct tips go out through the valance. The floors have been undercoated which makes a good sound deadener. The spare tire carrier is still in place. Looking up at the motor it is clean, has correct canister oil filter and lower ignition shielding. It has a correct replacement T10 4-speed manual trans. In back is the original 3.55 posi dated (Nov 17th, 1962) and coded to this car (CC). SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you the best cars within reason. This is a very nice example of a red # matching, high performance version of the iconic split window. Actually I just looked the car over agian and it is exceptional! I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the cars condition in detail. These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central Sales@volocars.com Answered ASAP 340 hp 3.55 posi Leather upholstery KH Knock off wheels Am-Fm radio Reproduction floormats Embroidered mats NCRS shipping Report Owners manual
