1963 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

• This C2-generation Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Coupe is an excellent example of the iconic American sports car, equipped with its original ‘numbers-matching’ engine and transmission.  

•  327ci (5.4-litre) V8, producing up to 300bhp,and four-speed manual transmission. 

• The odometer shows 70,854 miles, however this is not warranted. 

• This early, split-window coupe is believed to have had only three previous owners. 

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES 

• Dating from the C2 Corvette Sting Ray Coupe’s first year of production, this 1963 example features the characteristic split rear window and non-functional hood vents. 

• It is finished in the timeless hue of Sebring Silver over a blue leatherette-trimmed interior, punctuated by metal inserts on the shifter surround and glove compartment door. 

• The car rides on the correct set of 15-inch wheels with painted and polished hub caps, shod with American Classic whitewall tires.  

• The factory specification includes a three-spoke dished steering wheel, as well as a Delco radio unit and multiplex tuner.  

• The car features upgraded disk brakes and a High Energy Ignition (HEI) distributor.  

• It comes with the maintenance history from the restoration in 2010.  

CONDITION 

• There is no known bodywork damage. 

• The Sebring Silver paintwork is reported to be in excellent condition, though the seller notes a blemish on the driver’s-side front fender. There is also a crack in the upper driver’s door sill and paint protection film has been installed on the front and rear wheel arches, as well as under the door handles. 

•  The interior is presented in great shape. The seller notes some blemishes to the metal trim areas. There are also light scratches on both tread plates and very mild creasing on the seats.

• There are no known mechanical or electrical faults, and there are no warning lights showing on the dashboard. 

SERVICE HISTORY 

• This Corvette’s most recent maintenance was carried out in October 2021, when the engine oil was changed. 

• A comprehensive restoration was carried out in 2010.
