This 1963 Chevrolet C10 pickup has a great classic look and even a nice upgraded interior, but beneath all of that is a wild side. It even gets the vintage details right with bright chrome bumpers, full-length side trim, and real wood in the truck bed. But those Centerline racing wheels, lowered suspension, and exhaust tips just ahead of the rear wheels also single this is something more than just a boldly painted classic. Inside, the yellow and white of the exterior return, and now its joined by distinct orange on the door panels, carpeting, and even the seatbelts. Were particularly fond of the orange piping on the custom white bench seat to really tie this all together. The dash retains it classic look, and even the tach on top is right for the era. But they have also given you some nicely integrated upgrades, like cold-blowing R134a air conditioning and the AM/FM stereo with aux input for your iPod. While youve seen some nice upgrades to the truck so far, your favorite one will absolutely be under the hood. This engine bay is dressed to impress with smooth walls, tidy wires, and plenty of shine from the intake, valve covers, alternator, and much more. But what youll really love is all the power this creates. Youre looking at a 355 cubic-inch V8 topped with three sets of Rochester dual-barrel carburetors for the famous Tri-Power setup. Aluminum heads, an MSD ignition, and a growling dual exhaust help complete this performance package. Its all rated at 432 horsepower, and theres a dyno sheet to prove it. Making sure this power gets to the ground properly is a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission by TCI, and that feeds a strong 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears for good take-offs. More than just pure horsepower, this has the right cruising features with power steering, power brakes (w/discs up front,) and the C10s desirable trailing arm rear suspension.
