This Biscayne is a one-family owned car that has spent its life local to us in the Depew NY area! When new, this car was purchased from Tunkey Chevrolet on Broadway in Depew by a mother who got the car for her son. She purchased it for him because he was not old enough to buy a car yet. The car sat from 1975- 1998 because the son went into the service. In 2000, he came back and began to modify the car! The exterior is finished in red and it is said to be the original paint! The all-original red cloth/ vinyl interior features a bench layout, and the seats are nicely patterned giving it that classic look! The car has been fitted with a GM Gen IV 454ci/ 425 horse Big Block backed by a GM Muncie M20 4-speed! This car is a blast to drive, and it really moves with all that power! The 454 is a GM crate motor out of a 2002 performance parts catalog! The power is put down through a GM 4:11 posi rear end with posi O case! Engine statistics are listed in the catalog which can be seen in the photo gallery, but whats most important is that it makes 425hp and 500lb ft of torque! Original documents are included with the car such as the original selling dealer invoice, where the car sold for a whopping $1,648! In addition to that is the original passenger car shipping order, broadcast copy, build sheet, parts catalog, parts list, and even 2 match boxes from the original selling dealer we found in the ash tray! On the match boxes it states, We will beat your best deal or...buy you 2 steak dinners at a restaurant of your choice ... how cool! The exterior of this car has a mean look with widened factory wheels giving it a more aggressive stance and is in excellent condition especially considering the originality of the car! The engine bay housing the 454 is clean as can be and looks great with stylish valve covers, proper air cleaner with dual intakes, a GM 800 CFM carb, a GM 4 core radiator, and it sounds great with Hooker super-comp header and a dual exhaust! In order to give the car a nice ride, it features GM genuine parts such as heavy-duty drive shaft-carrier bearing and U-joints, dual rear-axel control arms and rear anti sway bar!
