Classic Car Overview

This 1963 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ7 Mk II was purchased by the current owner in 1996, and a subsequent restoration the following year involved a repaint in blue and white with a clear-coat as well as a refresh of the blue interior. The overbored 2.9-liter inline-six is said to have been rebuilt and overbored in 2005, and is paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The car rides on 15 knock-off wire wheels and is further equipped with a black soft top and blue top boot, front disc brakes, dual carburetors, a hood scoop, fender-mounted side mirrors, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. This 3000 Mk II is now offered in Delaware by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, a binder of refurbishment photos, a blue tonneau cover, accessories, and a South Dakota title listing the car as a 1964 model year.Finished from the factory in black, the body was removed from the frame and repainted in blue over white with a clear-coat. It was also fitted with a black soft top and blue tonneau cover. Other details include a hood scoop, fender-mounted side mirrors, and chrome bumpers with overriders. A blue tonneau cover will accompany the car.
Knock-off 15 chrome wire wheels are mounted with Mastercraft tires, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The 2+2 cabin has been retrimmed and features bucket seats upholstered in blue leather with white piping as well as blue carpets, a rear view mirror atop the dashboard, a heater, and a wood shift knob. Please Contact Dealer for more photos and videos.
